Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant – Leyton

About the Role:
Educators Connected is currently recruiting for an Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a lovely primary school based in Leyton.

The role is a long term, full-time position starting as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be providing one-to-one support for a student within KS2, who requires additional assistance within the classroom and beyond.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who is passionate about making a difference in students’ lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare learning materials under the guidance of the teacher.
• Provide one-to-one support inside and outside the classroom.
• Adapt support according to individual student needs, ensuring personalised care.
• Support the pupils’ physical, social, and emotional well-being.
• Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist teachers by providing information and helping with teaching tasks.
• Keep accurate records of student progress and attend review meetings.

What We Require:

• Previous experience working with students with SEN.
• Relevant training or qualifications within SEN (e.g., SENCO, SEN Support).
• At least 2 years of references.
• Right to work in the UK.
• A valid DBS Certificate (on the update service)
