KS1 Primary Teacher – Hitchin
Educators Connected Recruitment are delighted to be working with a fantastic primary school in Hitchin that is looking for a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join their team.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a teacher who enjoys creating an engaging classroom and wants to work within a supportive, welcoming and child-centred environment.
The Role
As a KS1 Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging KS1 lessons
Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment
Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
Encourage confidence, independence and curiosity
Monitor and assess pupil progress
Adapt learning to meet individual needs
Build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents
Contribute positively to the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate
We welcome applications from qualified and experienced teachers as well as Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
You will ideally have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an ECT working towards/holding QTS
Experience teaching or a strong interest in Key Stage 1
A good understanding of the KS1 curriculum
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
A creative, enthusiastic and committed approach
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning
