Teaching Assistant – Full-Time Position

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a primary school we are working with in Hemel Hempstead, starting as soon as possible. This is a full-time role, offering an exciting opportunity to support both students and teachers in a dynamic and supportive environment.

DBS on the Update Service Required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the class teacher in delivering lessons and managing classroom activities.
• Work with individual students or small groups to support their learning and development.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and create an inclusive, positive learning environment.
• Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
• Monitor and track students’ progress, providing feedback where necessary.

Requirements:

• A valid DBS check on the Update Service is essential for this role.
• Previous experience working with children, ideally within a school setting, is preferred but not essential.
• A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for supporting student development.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Patience, flexibility, and a commitment to the well-being and educational success of students.
